The District 6 North American Pairs (NAP) Finals were held online October 15-16, 2022. Winners in the Open who will represent District 6 at the Spring NABC being held in New Orleans, LA in March 9-19, 2023 are: Weizhong Bao and Hailong Ao, Rusty Krauss and Steve Robinson, and Eric Gettleman and John McAllister. In Flight B, our winners are: Barbara Devaney and Alexander Stille, Michael Lawrence and Craig Olson, Patrick Herbst and Ben Sharp, and Keith Hafen and John Pegues. In the NLM event our winners are: Edward Johnson and Kenneth Iobst, Helin Wei and Xu Li, Pankaj Mody and Clarence Peterson and Kenneth Headley and Lee DeWald Sr.
By ACBL Rules all players must be CLUB QUALIFIED. Club qualifiers are being held in face-to-face and online club games from June-August 2022. To Find a list of Club qualifiers go to 1>districtsixbridge.org 2>Click on NAP icon (top right side of screen) 3>Click on Club Qualifier Games (upper left side of the screen). Qualifiers listed in red are online games; all other games are face-to-face. Once you and your partner are club qualified, you must pre-register to play in the District Finals. To pre-register: send your names, an email address where we can communicate with you, your ACBL numbers, your BBO names, the flight you want to enter and a check for $50 (make check out to District Six) to cover the first two sessions on Saturday (or entire event on Sunday for NLM) to: Lucy McCoy (address envelope to Lucy McCoy, make check out to District Six) 3353 Taleen Ct. Annandale, VA 22003 We must get the checks by October 6, 2022. Players who qualify will get $700 for first place, $500 for second place, $300 for third place and $200 for fourth place to offset the cost of hotel rooms and travel. Once you have qualified and are ready to play in the District 6 NAP Finals, you can find other players who have qualified by going to ACBL.org and in the Search box, type: NAP Qualifiers. On that page you will see Conditions of Contest from various districts, including District 6. Then scroll down to the list of NAP Qualifiers, click on District 6, and you will find a list of all D6 players who have qualified.
